Christmas in the Woods

I sometimes can’t help but think of those who were lost and never found on days like today. So many thousands in all wars who simply disappeared. No more Christmas letters, no presents, no return from conflict, no growing old.

I focus a lot on the Second World War, especially on what happened in Nova Scotia. I know there are at least 13 aircraft that disappeared into the Bay of Fundy. Even though NS is a relatively small province, there are planes and crews lost in this tiny place who will maybe never be found (ie BW703).

I really hope that these men are never forgotten…especially on a day like today.

Merry Christmas – rest in peace.

Pax.
