William Mowbray (Moubray) died 1812 at RN Hospital, Halifax

Willam Mowbray was listed in the archives as being Master and Commander of HMS Swift.

William died on 18 December 1812. A note states that he was ‘received for interment’ from the Royal Navy Hospital. A Mowbray genealogy states that the family bible lists William as having succumbed to a fever. He lies somewhere within the Royal Navy Burial Ground in Halifax.
